Fantasy: Should you pick up Knowshon Moreno?

The Denver Broncos were able to have quite a bit of success last season
thanks in large part to Knowshon Moreno stepping his game up. Many
people thought he would have a pretty good chance of having success in fantasy football but he took it to another level by topping 1000 yards on
the ground for the 1st time in his career. However, now that he is in Miami,
people are doubting what he is able to accomplish. He should be going a lot
higher than the 10th round, which is his average draft position at this point in
time.
At 27 years of age, Moreno still has a solid couple of seasons left in the tank.
Yes, he’s switching teams and that could hold him back a little bit, but he
does not have to be the same guy who had so many yards on the ground and
a total of 13 touchdowns last year.
Denver did not make much of an effort to re-sign him, mainly because they
wanted to put Montee Ball in as the starter. In Miami, Moreno now has
to compete with Lamar Miller in order to get touches. People in fantasy
football are a little bit scared off about the chance of in sharing time, but
Moreno should have the edge because he is a more dependable runner.
In the preseason, Moreno has been sharp in limited action. He was able to
pick up 64 yards on 10 carries against the Dallas Cowboys, and that has
definitely caught the attention of the coaching staff. It should catch the
attention of any fantasy football owner as well, because he is going to be
one of the bigger sleepers this season. Jump on him now before other start to
catch on that he is going to get the bulk of the carries in Miami.
